3 Days Mikumi and Udzungwa National Park Camping Safari

Itinerary:

Day 1: Mikumi National Park (Evening Game Drive)

Begin the journey with an early morning departure at 5:00 am for a scenic 5–6-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, check into the park and start your game drive. Break for lunch at 1:00 pm at the park’s restaurant, then continue exploring until 6:30 pm. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at a nearby camp.

Day 2: Udzungwa National Park Hiking

After breakfast at 6:00 am, head to Udzungwa National Park for a hiking adventure along the Sanje Trail. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the viewpoint atop the waterfall before descending the trail and returning to camp for the night.

Overnight Stay: Camp Bastian Mikumi Cottages

Day 3: Mikumi National Park (Morning Game Drive) – Departure

Start with an early breakfast at 6:00 am, then proceed to Mikumi National Park for a 4-hour morning game drive starting at 6:30 am. Afterward, check out and embark on the return journey to Dar es Salaam, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
