ay 1: Journey to Ruaha National Park

Along the way, enjoy views of rural villages and vast farmlands. Arrive in Ruaha National Park and check in at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge, a cozy and scenic retreat overlooking the park’s beautiful plains.

Day 2: Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast at 6:00 AM, embark on your first thrilling game drive in Ruaha National Park. With over 10,000 elephants and a wide variety of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, the park offers unparalleled wildlife sightings. Break for lunch at 1:00 PM at a designated picnic spot within the park. Afterward, continue your game drive, taking in the striking landscapes, including the Great Ruaha River that attracts large herds of animals. Return to the lodge by 6:30 PM.

Day 3: Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

Start the day with breakfast at 6:00 AM before heading out for another morning game drive. Ruaha is a prime location for birdwatching, with over 570 bird species. As you explore, you may spot rare species like the White-headed Vulture or the Fish Eagle. Enjoy lunch at the park picnic site and then resume your game drive until 6:30 PM, experiencing the park’s rich flora and fauna in various habitats from riverine forests to open savannah. Return to the lodge for the night.

Day 4: Walking Safari and Game Drive in Ruaha

After the walk, relax with a hearty breakfast before resting at the cottages.
