5 Day Safari to Nyerere, Mikumi, and Udzungwa National Parks

Itinerary:

Day 1: Rufiji River Boat Safari (Evening)

Pickup: 8:30 AM

Travel to Nyerere National Park, a 4- to 5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check in at Africa Safari Selous Lodge for lunch and relaxation after the bumpy road trip. At 4:00 PM, embark on an evening boat safari along the Rufiji River until 6:30 PM. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park Game Drive

Breakfast: 6:00 AM

At 7:00 AM, drive to Nyerere National Park for check-in and a game drive. Stop for lunch at 1:00 PM at the park picnic site. Continue the game drive until 6:30 PM, then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight Stay: Africa Safari Selous Lodge

Day 3: Mikumi National Park (Evening Game Drive)

After breakfast, transfer to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy an evening game drive until 6:30 PM. Afterward, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Overnight Stay: Camp Bastian Mikumi Cottages

Day 4: Udzungwa National Park Hiking

Breakfast: 6:00 AM

At 7:00 AM, drive to Udzungwa National Park and check in. Embark on the Sanje Trail Hike, enjoying a lunch at the viewpoint overlooking the waterfall. Afterward, descend the mountain and return to the camp.

Overnight Stay: Camp Bastian Mikumi Cottages

Day 5: Mikumi National Park (Morning Game Drive) - Departure

Breakfast: 6:00 AM

At 6:30 AM, check in at Mikumi National Park for a 4-hour morning game drive, concluding at 11:00 AM. Afterward, check out and drive back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
